About Extry
Extry is a browser extension that saves a ChatGPT conversation as files you keep: Markdown, HTML, DOCX, TXT, JSON, or a ZIP with the attachments.
What it does
A conversation in ChatGPT lives in an account, behind a login, on a service that decides how long the history stays and how far back the scroll goes. Extry writes it out as files on your own disk: the transcript, the code blocks, and the files that were in the chat.
The export runs in your browser, and there is no account to create. The privacy policy sets out what is handled and where each part runs.
Who publishes it
Extry is published by the project of the same name. Mail to support@extry.pro reaches it directly — the same address is named in the privacy policy and filed with the Chrome Web Store listing.
